Briefing:

Starting outside of Leeds (at Armley Junction) you are at the controls of 40145 with the Scarborough Spa Express originating at Carnforth. This tour was a rare working due to WCRC using 40145 instead of their own fleet of diesels. You will take this tour from Leeds to Holgate Loops on the diesel powered leg of the tour outwards to Scarborough. Be sure to give lots of thrash for the gricers bashing for 40145 – and not that kettle on wheels!
