8th April 2021This is a scenario for the West Coast Mainline – North West and Scotland route available from Alan Thomson Sim.
Disaster! The TDM on 1M09 has failed meaning that 87012 is trapped on the blocks at Glasgow. Take 87014 ‘Knight of the Thistle’ from Polmadie Depot to Glasgow Central to drag 1M09, completing the first shift of the journey, from Glasgow to Preston where another driver would take over. As well as the TDM failing, you also have harsh weather conditions to contend with down Beattock and over Shap – and let’s not forget the snow and ice.

Just before leaving Glasgow, the signal goes back to red. Theres an Edinburgh to Glasgow train that moves upto the last signal before entering the station that stops (even with a yellow aspect) blocking your path out of the station.

It’s 2Y57. I’ve managed to get it to run correctly now, but it took 3 attempts & the AI train behaved differently every time! Very strange, but that’s TS.
