BMG Welsh Marches Line Class 47 Sound / Physics / Branding Patch
7th June 2021Following on from our sound / physics patch for the DTG Virgin Class 47, here is the same patch for the BMG Welsh Marches Line Class 47. Includes the sound patch, physics patch and also a West Coast Railway Company branding patch with compatibility for both the original withdrawn iteration of the route and the re-released version.
Please note that if you drive using the in-game HUD, the visual AWS warning button does not appear. Unfortunately this is an issue with the base model and not unique to this patch.
Essential requirements:
– Bossman Games Welsh Marches Line Route Add-On: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1230279/Train_Simulator_Welsh_Marches_Newport__Shrewsbury_Route_AddOn/ (currently available version) and / or the original discontinued version
– Armstrong Powerhouse Class 47 Sound Pack (Pro): https://www.armstrongpowerhouse.com/sounds/locomotive3/class_47_sound_pack_pro
Optional requirements:
– Armstrong Powerhouse Wherry Lines Route Add-On: https://www.armstrongpowerhouse.com/routes/wherry_lines_norwich_to_great_yarmouth_lowestoft_route OR https://store.steampowered.com/app/376970/Train_Simulator_Wherry_Lines_Norwich__Great_Yarmouth__Lowestoft_Route_AddOn/
Damn, it looks great, but without the Class 47 Sound Pack Pro from AP, it still sounds stock… Why AP!? Why must you be stubborn to us!?
Yeah it’s a shame the 47 SP is no longer available, so if you didn’t already have it you’ll only get stock sounds. What we really need a brand new 47 loco pack, that would be even better!
Thanks for this.
I do have a small problem when double heading, the dynamic exhaust and engine sounds increasing with throttle input only appears to work on the lead engine. Is this a problem with the model? Can this be fixed through the physics?
Thanks,
Steve
I’m not sure why this might be in all honesty. If I were to hazard a guess I would say it is something to do with the scripting in the base model but I have never done any scripting so it is just a guess. I don’t think anything we’ve changed is the culprit.
Thank you folks. Waited patiently on this one. Going to head up The Kyle Line on a railtour shortly for a good test.
