24th February 2021Thank you for downloading this scenario. This is one scenario for the WCML ‘Missing Link’ Phase 3 between Birmingham and Preston, utilizing the track between Crewe & Garston (Liverpool) set in the Autumn of 2019
You take charge of Freightliner ‘Cans’ 86609+86607 at Basford Hall where you are tasked with taking it up to Garston. As you have a 1500 Tonne load you will need to be careful when climbing the gradients out of Basford Hall as with-it being Autumn, there will be strong wheelslip! Try not to lose too much time en route. Good luck!

How to Install
Extract the folder using 7zip to a suitable location
Copy and place the scenario in the route folder under the route L:\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Content\Routes\045911ae-114c-4dfc-8382-4505d0491555
UPDATE
FIXED INSTALATION ISSUE (sort of)
A couple of notes:
1. Supplying a briefing in the scenario really adds to the immersion, explaining the situation that the train’s currently in, where it’s come from, where it’s going, etc
2. A lot of the container flats are in the wrong orientation. Each wagon has a high buffered side and a low buffered side. The high buffered side couples to the locomotive and the low buffered side couples to the next wagon.
3. The scenario is quite laggy, cutting back on the static consists might help with this.
4. As has been pointed out, the folder structure for installation is incorrect, which made installation more difficult than it had to be.
Other than that, a fun scenario.

The PackageMyScenario doesn’t work so had to do it that way. That’s the way i was told sorry.

The folder structure of the Download should be; Content\Routes\045911ae-114c-4dfc-8382-4505d0491555\Scenarios\23c5588e-461a-486d-b7ae-c80e2ff6d688.
You have just put \Routes\Routes…… I was able to install it myself but I had to manually find the name of the WCML-ML in the folder structure. (I know the software is usually easy to package a scenario but it is much more reliable to do this manually).
Hope this helps and I’m looking forward to having a go with this later.
