323 Stand-in (1994) – 2K62 09:25 Liverpool Lime Street – Crewe

With introduction of the Class 323 EMUs being delayed during 1994, Cross City and West Midlands services were run by 1st gen Class 304 and 308 EMUs as well as 142s along the WCML. Today, you will drive a pair of 142s from Lime Street to Crewe substituting for the delayed 323s. With these slower DMUs and delays on the network, the timetable will be hard to keep.
