8th July 2024Hi, and thank you for downloading this 45 minute scenario for the Just Trains Midland Main Line Derby to Sheffield.
To install, simply copy the enclosed ‘Content’ folder to your Railworks folder. This is a ‘Standard’ scenario and is named “[MJC] 1500 Bristol Temple Meads – Newcastle”
This is a revamp of a scenario from the discontinued WTT Scenarios scenario pack 3.
Summary
On a pleasant Sunday afternoon you are in charge of this Virgin Cross Country service, one of only few through this area that are formed with class 47s and mark 2 stock. Year: 2000.
Delays around Birmingham mean we are around 20 minutes late, and will be following a Midland Main Line service from Derby. You call at Chesterfield and Sheffield.

Just an aside, really, that I think the latest AP updates have rendered the mark 2 coaches incompatible with the Virgin branding pack. I’m getting tail lights at both ends of all coaches and odd glitches on the bogies, so have had to reinstall the pack without the branding. Shame, but not fatal.
I wonder if anyone more expert can verify what’s going on?

Hi Barry. Yes that is correct, any reskins / patches for the AP coaches need to be updated by their creators to make them compatible. As far as I know, the branding patch on ATS is not yet done. However, Vulcan Productions do have a branding patch for the Mark 2D-2F coaches and that has been updated.
