Background:

Today you will be driving the final part of 1B31 the 1249 Scotrail Inter7City service from Inverness to Edinburgh
you will pick up the service on the Newburgh line just outside Ladybank where you will be held at a signal to
await a delayed service to Perth, once you have a clear path you will call at Markinch, Kirkcaldy, Inverkeithing,
Edinburgh Gateway, Haymarket and Edinburgh Waverley. Unfortunately due to the delay a Glenrothes to Tweedbank train has been put in front of you, so you will need to be mindful of the signals beyond Thornton South Junction.
