In a bid to boost capacity of their 222/1 fleet 222001 and 006 had carriages removed boosting all 4 car Meridians to 5 car sets. Today newly strengthened 222104 forms the service and due to 222101 failing at Etches Park there will be no set joining at Nottingham meaning it’ll be quite a busy morning on-board.
