If you get a message such as “failed to execute script”
- Ensure you are running the installer as admin. To do this right click on it and select “run as administrator”
- Disable your antivirus and run the installer again
- Run the installer from within your railworks directory (normally C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\commom\Railworks)
If you get a message such as “Invalid login or product not owned”
- Download the latest installer from your account
- Ensure that you are using the correct account details
- Reset your password
- Disable your antivirus and run the installer again
I receive an error code when running the installer or installing a product
- Error Code 100 – zip file hasn’t downloaded or has been corrupted. Please make sure you have enough storage (10GB free on your C: drive and the installation drive if different) It is advisable to also turn off Anti Virus and run the launcher in admin mode. This error only occurs during extraction of zip attempt.
- Error code 200 – 7zip module has failed, likely missing from application package or has been accidently deleted. Please reinstall 7zip
- Error code 300 –
- The inability to connect to the download server seems to be an anti-virus or firewall problem but may be because of your router or ISP. A workaround is to download https://protonvpn.com/ and install it and run it. Then try the installer again, remembering to run it as admin.
