The Mk3 sleeper cars were built in 1981 to 1984 by BREL Derby Litchurch Lane Works and a total of
208 vehicles were constructed. There are two types of Mk3 sleeper cars: Sleeper Either class (SLE),
which has 13 compartments (13 to 26 beds), and Sleeper Either class with Pantry (SLEP), which has
12 compartments (12 to 24 beds), plus a compartment used for an attendant.

This coach has been repainted in full Caledonian Sleeper livery as carried on CAF Mk5 carriages that
was introduced in 2019, a type of coach which has yet to be made available for Train Simulator.
