DTG Class 60 Scripting Patch
3rd June 2022This is a patch for the class 60 that fixes and updates various features of the scripting in the train.
Main features are:
● Smoother traction scripting
● Tweaked physics to reduce the power to a more sane level
● Slow Speed Speedometer now stays off when slow speed is
not being used
● Slow Speed Control system fully rescripted
● Reverser now functions properly as a 4 position handle
● Master Key keyboard command moved to Shift + W
● Controls are now interlock as per reality (eg reverser cannot be
moved without the master key being inserted)
● Throttle now has “Off” and “On” notches and above “On” is
infinitely variable as per reality

It keeps telling me I didn’t extract the AP file, even though I did.
I’ve installed the patch as instructed & got a green screen when I ran the BAT file. I’ve loaded up the game and gone to drive the DTG class 60. Had to immediately silence the AWS. The shift + “W” key doesn’t appear to work & the reverser control is locked in the off position & won’t move.
Hi I’ve installed it and seems to work but there is one thing that is still broken. The brake marker on the outer edge of the brake gauge jumps to 0 if the gauge lights are turned on. If they are turned off it goes back to the correct position. It can be seen here: https://youtu.be/CWHLFCpVp8c?t=470 Take a good look at the brake gauge when the gauge lights are turned on.
I was wondering if this could be fixed.
I installed this and got a GREEN command window.However,when I load a scenario,I immediately have to reset the AWS,and the Master Key keyboard command Shift + W does not function.
Hi there. I am getting the same red failed message after several attempts, asking me if i have extracted the the .AP file, which i have, several times.
iav unziped the class60 zip.but get file not found.thx
Just installed this on a fresh unaltered version of this loco and now all the sounds have disappeared. Deleted everything and re-installed the train and the sounds were back so it’s obviously affecting it somehow even if it doesn’t modify the sound. Any suggestions what to do now?

Hello. I’ve extracted the AP file but I still get a red message asking if I have done this. Do I need to remove the AP file after I have extracted it?
Haven’t got the DTG Class 60 and I’m not sure if you use 7-Zip, but did you “extract here”, if not, try it – when you “extract files” it just creates a separate file containing the extracted files, which probably isn’t what the installer’s looking for – I wouldn’t remove or delete any ap files unless you’re very short of HD/SSD space – you might need to put it back if something goes wrong.
