DESCRIPTION: At the time, the vast majority of FCC ‘Thameslink’ services to/from Bedford and London to Brighton were still routed via London Bridge rather than the avoiding track through Crystal Palace. One such peaktime additional train in the Up direction is 1W98: the 177:00 from Bedford to Three Bridges. Diagrammed a 4 car, it also has a rather odd stopping pattern calling at Luton and St Albans City only. You are in charge of said service today, on this cloudy July afternoon. Year: 2007
