After swapping drivers here at Hitchin, you are to take Class 37 37688 and 37423 up to Norwich (as far as Ely North Junction). You are quiet lucky today, as this is the second to last move with 37688 under DRS ownership, soon it will be handed over to the D05 Preservation Society and based at the Mid Norfolk Railway, hence the loco now being debranded. Also 37423 is dead in tow as it is heading up to operate the short sets on the Wherry Lines.

As you are a light loco you will be stopped at multiple locations, with you being expected to stop at Cambridge and Ely for your last leg of the journey. You will be following a brand new Class 700 service to Cambridge where then luckily a Norwich bound Greater Anglia service has been cancelled so you will be following greens all the way to Ely.
