25th July 2023Hello, this is one ‘standard’ scenario for the ‘WCML Trent Valley Route’ available from Steam.
Length: Approximately 55 mins.

To install, simply extract the .zip file using whichever software you have and copy the ‘Content’ folder to your RailWorks install “usually” found here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks
>Scenario Guide:
You begin this scenario at Hillmorton Junction just south of Rugby waiting for a signal. You are working 5Z20, an empty stock move consisting of two class 319s which are being transferred to Northern to bolster their electric unit fleet with the upcoming electrification works around the north west. You have freshly painted and overhauled 319380 leading with 319366 still in ex-FCC livery behind. Being transferred from Wolverton to Allerton you will be in charge between Rugby and Stafford. >Weather Note: If you wish to get the AP Sky and Weather EP 2.0 to work properly on the route and experience the intended weather in this scenario, you need to do the following:
(1) Navigate to – Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\AP\WeatherEP\TimeOfDay
(2) Copy the 4 x .bin files from there and paste in to the following folder, overwriting when prompted:
Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Thomson\WCMLTrentValley\TimeOfDay

Excellent scenario as always! Good times rediscovering this route, especially with the AP enhanced weather as I seem to remember the default ones were particularly dodgy!

Bashing out these scenarios like crazy John! This is legit the first ever time i’ve driven Trent Valley and it was a brilliant scenario! Kudos once again!
Thank you very much Chris. First time ever driving Trent Valley was it? Well I’m really glad you found it to be so enjoyable first time round! The route does show it’s age a little bit now and some parts of it aren’t as good as other, more modern routes these days but until we have a modern replacement for it I still find it a really good route to drive and create scenarios for.
