Hi, and thank you for downloading this 2 hour and 40 minute scenario for the Just Trains South Western Expressways – Reading route.
To install, simply copy the enclosed ‘Content’ folder to your Railworks folder. This is a ‘Standard’ scenario and is named “[MJC] 2C92 1744 Taunton – Castle Cary / 2A19 1954 Castle Cary – Westbury”

Summary
Going the direct route, there are no stations between Taunton and Castle Cary, and an HST will make the journey in 19 minutes. However the 17.44 Wales & West service, which is an amalgamation of two trains, takes over two hours with 13 stops. Year: 2000.

You will call at Bridgwater, Highbridge, Bristol Temple Meads, Keynsham, Oldfield Park, Bath Spa, Freshford (R), Avoncliff (R), Bradford-on-Avon, Trowbridge, Westbury, Frome, and Bruton.
Freshford and Avoncliff are request stops – reduce your speed to around 15mph as you approach the markers on the HUD before the platforms, and you will be advised whether you need to stop or not.

On arrival at Castle Cary you will then re-trace your steps back to Westbury with 2A19, calling at Bruton and Frome. The destination blind fitted to this unit doesn’t have Castle Cary on it, but you could show ‘Bristol TM’ or ‘Westbury’ for sections of the journey.
