As part of the December 2023 Timetable change, Northern has transferred all 12 Four car 331s, which have been based in West Yorkshire since introduction, to the Northwest to boost capacity. In return, 9 3 car 331s have been transferred to West Yorkshire to work Services on the Airedale & Wharfedale network along with Leeds – Doncaster workings.

In this scenario, you are in charge of one of the workings to Allerton Depot via Huddersfield. Your power is in the form of 37 510 ‘Orion’. Due to not having a 331 in the sim a 319 has been used instead. You begin just outside Leeds around 30 minutes late so running out of the booked path means this run will not be plain sailing and you can expect some adverse signals.
