Summary
During the Summer 1993 timetable, Intercity Cross Country have one service per day to and from Swansea, worked by a class 47 and mark 2 coaches. On a fine morning drive the morning departure from Swansea as far as Bristol Parkway. You will be calling at Neath, Port Talbot Parkway, Bridgend, Cardiff Central, Newport, and Bristol Parkway where you will be relieved. 47830 was failed at Landore overnight and will be repaired during the day. As a result 47547, still carrying NSE livery, has been borrowed from the Parcels sector to work this train. Maximum speed is 95mph.
