Wonderful work Alex. I have a question however. I don’t appear to get any destinations available on QD
Northbound from Euston. Is that intentional? Or, do I have a problem?
Thanks.
Mike
Sorry! Now sorted. Re-installed 5.2 re-boot….All OK. Re-installed 5.3 and APTEP and…..QD Euston destinations back!! Goodness knows what happened there but as it’s a Windows PC I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Now an even more brilliant route.
Mike
Hi Mike.
You shouldn’t need to have 5.2 installed to fix this, but if all’s well, then good news.
Could be a glitch or a bug or even the Corona virus 😉
Thanks for your comments 🙂
Hi, brilliant route but I would appreciate in the next version, you change the quick drive destinations from what they are now to key line termini, for example, a quick drive from Euston to Northampton, or a quick drive from Watford junction P10 to Euston, like in DTGs routes, otherwise, brilliant route, especially with the AP 350.
Thank for your feedback and suggestions.
There are presently around 31 QD starting locations (Including one that will take you from Euston to Northampton)
I believe that is sufficient on a route of this size.
Specific destination platforms will not be a future option.
with one of the class 350 ap runs.says iam missing class 66/5/.any ideas were i can download from thx
There are a number of scenarios involving the AP class 350, could you please be more specific ?
Do you have all of the listed requirements for the scenario you are referring to ?
Hello Alex,
Seem to be missing tunnel textures at Primrose Hill and near Willesden. Don’t think I am missing anything, but I wouldn’t be 100% sure of that.
Any ideas? I do have a screenshot available if required.
Cheers
Stewart
Have you read the “Tunnels” section on the third page of the Readme.pdf ?
Whatamistakatomake!!
Apologies Alex – I thought I had Woodhead installed and I was right.
Sadly it was NOT the right version.
Mea Culpa.
Thanks for the quick response
Stewart

Read the Scenario section of the readme.pdf (That’s what it’s there for 😉
Did you find LT 73 alright, if so where was it , I’m having trouble locating it .
I`ve found it now , so all is ok.
im missing the stairs at long buckby? i have all the requirements and the rest of the route is fine. what dlc do the stairs at long buckby use so i can check the problem

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
The link will be added to the requirements in the Readme.pdf.
Little issue when doing quick drives from Euston. Signal WM 111 is unexpectedly at danger even though the signal before it was green. Gives me a SPAD every time.
I have not experienced this.
Do you have ALL the essential requirements ?
Does the associated AWS ramp prior to WM 111 activate a warning ?
Does the TPWS TSS activate and stop your train when you SPAD WM 111 ?
I do have all the essentials. And I think the AWS ramp did go off idk about the TPWS because I slammed on the E brakes with backspace as soon as I saw the signal.
If you get chance to try the same QD again and report back on my second two questions, it may help to go some way to resolving your issue.
Next time, if you could actually continue through the red signal (SPAD) to see if the TSS activates.
The preceding signal block should also be clear of traffic (AI).
What a good route. I tried to do Quick Drive in between London and Birmingham with AI trains enabled, then it finally worked. That was awesome route I have used! That was rather better than the v5.2! 😄
If you have experienced any of the following, please re download the route.
1. Problems with scenario #1B58 (or R #1B58).
2. Missing scenario #1R05 (or R# 1R05) in the TS menu.
3. Broken download link.
Apologies once again for any inconvenience.
Sods law !
After checking the scenarios, #1B58 (both versions) have been affected by the unavoidable track repair at Lawley Street 🙁
Also discovered that scenario #1R05 is completely missing ! (It never rains but it pours).
As usual, it’s getting late, but I’ll get this sorted ASAP
Is there any major changes in this that would prevent 5.2 scenarios from running?
All scenarios written for v5.2 should work as 99.99% of the track was untouched and no markers were changed.
However, I had to fix a small broken section of track on a little used non electrified line (the junction along side Lawley Street Freight Terminal). As long as no AI or player trains were positioned at this exact point all scenarios will work.
If by chance you have a problem, please let me know.
All seems to be fixed now 🙂
Superb route mate. Been waiting for this update rather than install the previous version, so my first look. Installed & runs no problem. Only done a 10 min quick drive from Euston ( to make sure my pc can handle it)! It looks fantastic & the AI in quick drive is a real bonus. FPS far better than I expected. Happy, happy. CHEERS.
Thanks 🙂
Works okay dokey now. Many thanks
Apologies for the glitch with the zero bytes file download.
I have messaged admin to report this issue.
