Notes
Hi there! I’ve been a guard for SWR for the past 6 (ish) months which has helped me create this scenario with the highest accuracy I can provide, but if there is anything I can fix / do differently next time please let me know! This scenario takes you over a route I work often, and currently at time of writing operates using an 8 car 450.
For this scenario I have added destinations into the destination boards of AI trains, however 455 destinations have not been given “vias” or route numbers as RTT sadly didn’t provide headcode numbers for this day, and I wanted to be able to release this scenario in a timely manner.
If anything can be done differently or you know of any improvements I can make let me know either via the comments section on this scenario or by messaging me on discord. My username is ic225 if you need any support.
There is plenty of traffic along the way, and all trains are meticulously recreated from the timetable on 16/12/2024. You should be on greens all the way into Hampton Court. Enjoy your journey!
For timings, please check the scenario briefing once loaded in.
—— CHANGELOG 05/12/2024 ——
Once again it seems I originally uploaded a non-working version of this scenario, where 2 AI trains ended up colliding at Platform 1 at Surbiton for some reason. I have re-tested the scenario and as I was able to replicate the fault, I have since fixed the issue. Once again thanks to the patience and help of Bertie Hitch in the comments for pointing this out to me and informing me of the problem with this scenario.
The fix involved moving 1A46 forward of SUR P1, so that the scenario starts with the train straddling 2 signal blocks. 2L48 now no longer runs into the back of it which means the scenario runs as intended now. I am not sure why the game originally had the 2 trains collide as this should have been impossible but that’s just Railworks for you.
I have since play-tested this new version (“v1.1”) and I am pleased to report the fixes applied seem to have rectified the fault.
Once again thank you to those who raised this issue to me and I apologise once again for the inconvenience caused.
Once Again, if something doesn’t work right or you wish to provide feedback, please shoot me a message on discord. My username is as below:

Anyway, thanks for downloading this, and reading to the end, happy driving! – Tom
P.S See the scenario briefing for timings.
Hello mate, dont want to sound rude however in pretty much all your scenarios a common factor is trains ALWAYS derailing at some point. Like for this instance, 2L48 1424 BSK-WAT Crashes into 1A46 1415 Alton-Waterloo.
Afternoon,
Just want to apologise about that again, for some reason my initial testing of the scenario didn’t bring this fault up. I have re-tested the scenario to the end now and I have re-created the issue caused. I’ve provided a changelog and updated the scenario now so it should no longer have this issue. Once again, thanks for bearing with me and I hope I can use these lessons learned to create more stable scenarios going forward. Feel free to download the latest version as I have confidence this one works in full.
“all trains are meticulously recreated from the timetable on 16/12/2024”.
Can you see into the future? It’s only the 3rd today …. 😜
Afternoon, sorry for the confusion! I meant the trains had been re-created from the timetable for that day, not retroactively recreated. As such the unit numbers will likely be different on the day, but the timetable itself for the 16th was used for this scenario.
