
Simple Hud
7th March 2025Simple Hud is a replacement hud with a clean and simple design, and is simple to install and uninstall. It’s specifically designed for the expert hud (F3), but can be used with the easy hud (F4) if necessary.
Comes with six colour choices – Black, Blue, Brown, Green, Grey or Teal.
Has three style choices – Rounded Edges, Squared Edges or Bordered Edges.
Choose any colour with any style.
Also includes an additional twelve textured huds – Carbon Black, Carbon Blue, Carbon Red, Carbon Teal, Corroding Bronze, Polished Brass, Sheet Metal, Sheet Metal Patina, Stainless Steel, Stainless Steel Dark, Tartan Green, Tartan Red.
And a further four huds in the DTG style – Original Grey, Blue, Dark or Sepia.
That’s thirty-four choices of hud in total.
Easy to revert back to the default DTG Hud if desired.
Works seamlessly with the Hud Train Colour Pack. You can change the choice of hud anytime without affecting the train hud colours. The pack is available for free download:

I can only see one Change that would make it better , if possible make the new hud a little narrower ,I may be wrong but it looks wider than the original.
Hi Beduth. The new hud is the same width as the DTG default hud. It probably looks wider because the rounded borders were deliberately overwritten with black rectangular shapes. I made absolutely sure that the new black rectangular shapes did not exceed the dimensions of the DTG default hud. I guess it’s possible to narrow the rectangle on the far left a little where the rounded border used to be. I’ll give it a try and update if it looks ok. Thanks for your comment.
Hi Beduth. I was able to narrow the hud a little on the far left as mentioned and it looks ok. That’s as narrow as it gets, otherwise the information on display will look off-centre. Hud now updated to v1.3 as a result. Thanks for your suggestion.
