The Sutton and Mole Valley Line (V3)
9th May 2026The Sutton and Mole Valley Line (SMVL) is a collection of lines from London Bridge and London Victoria to Epsom, Dorking and Horsham via West Croydon or Mitcham Junction.
This version (v3) includes new scenery on the Sutton loop and trackwork updates throughout, with the most notable work at London Bridge – with relaid platforms and a new station model. Signalling has also been improved, with a majority of JT signals being replaced with UKPro ones. Details on the updates and included scenarios are in the manual.

I’m thinking of developing the Oxted lines at some point in the future. If I did, could I use your route as the base with the modern London Bridge configuration?
We so need the Oxtead Lines
Great work. Enjoying what I’m driving so far. Thanks!
Hello, I’d like to add to my previous post that I had the Portsmouth Direct Line: London Waterloo – Portsmouth version installed from 2018, and not the previous version, Portsmouth Direct Line from 2012.
Hopefully that’s not the problem—or is it?
Regards, Mario
Hello, I’ve installed the route with all the necessary prerequisites.
It’s also displayed under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Content\Routes, but it’s not found in the TSC.
Please help.
Thanks. Mario
I downloaded it but Wimbledon station is invisible I have the Portsmouth direct line
And it’s not showing up on my routes I reinstalled the game and nothing
same doesn’t appear in my routes
I just had a drive on this wonderful route, you have done an excellent job! it has a bit of everything and it’s great to be able to leave Victoria and drive to Dorking, Awesome stuff!
I live directly alongside this route and use it frequently to to get around this part of south west when I don’t feel like getting the 57. You’ve done a very good job!
Quick note: Have you tried using the split tool to separate the ends of the platforms from the main bodies to fix the sunken passengers issue? I had the same problem at the end of my last route when I added the platform ends at the final stages of development and noticed the passengers were sunken into the platform when they weren’t before. I believe this happens because the game forces passengers to walk at the lowest level of the platform loft.
Ah that sounds like it could be the reason, I haven’t tested it yet so can’t confirm but thank you – this issue has plagued me for a while!
Good old Matt Peddlesden has done great tutorial vids on the matter giving you all the information about platforms:

Stellar work as always!!
The PIS code for the included Class 700 scenario is 3550, if anyone here is using the announcement pack.

need this as well.
Hi, sorry this got through. I have ammended the scenario and this has now been removed as a requirement and replaced with an AP Class 700.
Thank you so much! Hadn’t come across this before. Really looking forward to exploring this.
Here’s the custom assets that are missing from SouthLondonLines folder:
RSC\SouthLondonLines\Environment\Terrain\Decals\london bridgenorth x2 y3.bin
RSC\SouthLondonLines\RailNetwork\Speedsigns\Single_Value_Speed_Sign_Epsom.bin
RSC\SouthLondonLines\Scenery\Bridges\Arch_Conc_loft_01.bin
RSC\SouthLondonLines\Scenery\Clutter\orbs_single.bin
RSC\SouthLondonLines\Scenery\Clutter\orbs_single_white.bin
Maybe you could release a patch containing these (and their shapes and textures)
Thanks!
Hi, I also don’t have these assets in my TS Directory and have no knowledge of what they might be. Sorry about this, but it shouldn’t be noticeable when playing the route.
The missing speed sign shows as a milk bottle east of Tooting. Interesting you don’t have them – have you taken over the route development from someone else that placed the assets there? I’ll ask on the tsc discord and check UKTS maybe it’s from there. I’ll let you know.
Cheers anyway 🙂
Ah, interesting and thank you for locating it. I have replaced the speedsign heading towards Tooting. I believe it was also there from previous versions, not too sure where it came from or what directory the file was in (considering I don’t have it in my directory) because that’s one section of track I didn’t change. If you re-download it should appear now, but unsure about the other issues.
Awesome, thank you very much!
There’s also Speedsigns missing that are loaded from RSC\SouthLondonLines but not there.
Hi, thanks for this great route.
TSTools shows me a missing “SouthernPIS” from Assets\Alex_test\Signs, which is not part of the download. Is that important or just a dev leftover?
Cheers!
Thank you! This is a dev leftover which is in place on the Horsham section – nothing that is currently included in scenic sections and will be removed when scenery is in place there.
Just completed 9V37 & really enjoyed it. The signal and track upgrade definitely enhance the route and i’m looking forward to completing the rest of the scenarios. Only thing i noticed was a missing RLU marker at West Sutton and also some passengers ‘sunk’ into the platforms throughout (which i also had with v2.3). Anyway, these are minor things which do not spoil the enjoyment! Thank you for the route and for sharing your work.
Thank you for pointing these out. I’m not sure how to address the passengers on platforms (been an issue since original release). I have however added the missing stop marker, so if you redownload it should be there in the new file.
