The Sutton and Mole Valley Line V2.3
7th July 2021The Sutton and Mole Valley Line is the name for the collection of routes that stretch from London Victoria to Epsom, Dorking and Horsham via Carshalton, London Bridge to Epsom Downs and Dorking via West Croydon, with the main operator on these services being Southern. This is a Work In Progress (WIP) route and has some issues with signalling / speed limits, with certain known issues listed in the readme.

Update 30/7/21 – Simvue Class 377 111 NHS livery removed from scenario and requirements, Northbound and Southbound Quickdrive added and WCML South requirement added.

Hello i have just recently got this route and i was coming here to ask is it alright if i upload a route i built (the arun valley line) to the ATS website but i used some assets from your route and i was asking for permission to upload it (its fine if you dont) but i was just curious as i dont want to just reupload the routes assets without permission.

Unfortunately I am not working on a Version 2.4 at the moment, the project has been shelved for the forseeable future though I will post updates if a version 2.4 is a work in progress.

What mod do i need for there to be a platform at Epsom Downs?
If memory serves, it should be the North London Lines by DTG.
I’m amazed at how little people have commented on this route – It’s absolutely stunning. I’ve spent hours and hours creating several scenarios for personal use to all destinations, and especially with the new Class 700 and EPs it can’t be anymore appreciated on the time you have put into this route. It would be great to see this route be promoted.
The track is great, the scenery is stunning, the detail of going through third party DLC and having custom models in the route is immaculate and makes this a really enjoyable experience. Not only this, but you’ve rebuilt the track leading up and into London Bridge to suite the new platforms plus optimisations and updates throughout the whole map. Without doubt this is my favourite freeware route, if not route altogether in Train Sim.
If you’re ever looking at expanding it further I’d be more than looking forward to this, I hope everyone appreciates the hard work you put into this as much as I do.

When are the scenery for Tooting to Sutton going to be done. Also could we do a line from Wimbledon to Clapham Junction Via Putney. Keep up the work I like the route.
For the scenario 1k10: Epsom down sidings – london bridge the shunt signal stays red even after i waited 20 mins so i cant proceed on to the platform otherwise there will be an ai collision
Issues that I’ve noticed:
1) At Waddon P1 doors of 10-carriage train open only in 2 last coaches (in guard operation mode) – check platform marker;
2) “Echo” sound effect at London brige bays is still active, even there is no building (wich can create it in real life);
3) 1K10 scenario – one of signals between Norwood Jn and New Cross Gate is red and must be TABbed – no info about it.

nevermind i think i figured it out
Is there any way to get hold of the ‘simvue 377 111’ reskin at all? I’ll be buying the ap 455 enhancement on friday ( hopefully) but i’m wanting to find a way to get hold of that reskin so i can make sure i suffer no issues loading the scenraios provided. any help would be greatly appreciated ( also not got any knowledge on swapping out stock)
running into an error with the scenario 1k10: Epsom down sidings london bridge, i have installed everything required ecept the simvue 377 as that is no longer available, but im getting the error ‘cant load rail vehicle 73_diesel’ and the ai service ‘9C09’ showing up as not connected to deination- (S) portal2. if anyone could help with that i would greatly appreciate it
Frankfurt U-Bahn is also missing from the requirements list 🙂
I’m also missing “JustTrains\ModernTrack\RailNetwork\Buffers\jt_track_buffers_rail.bin” I hope that’s in the Frankfurt route.
Liking the route so far of what I’ve seen in the scenario editor! One thing I’m missing is “RailNetwork~Signals~Pro Signals~Pro Signal Heads~Pro HD RA Single.xml”. Do you know where this asset is?

Hi Adam, as far as I’m aware the RA sign comes from West Coast Mainline South v5.3 on ATS, apologies for not putting that in the requirements!

Hi mate. Got all requirements, downloaded and installed following the instructions, but I have none of the new scenarios.
Sorry to hear this, others who have had this issue have told me that deleting the route (uninstalling the .rwp file) and then reinstalling works, along with deleting previous versions of the route which may have been installed prior to v2.3.
