On the 17th of July 1999 Hertfordshire Rail Tours ran a charter from London Euston to Nottingham. The tour ran via the WCML to Bletchley, before heading to Bedford to join the Midland Mainline then turning off at Knighton Junction and following the Coalville Line to Burton on Trent.
