This scenario pack represents a range of services between Preston and Scotland around 2018/19 when Virgin Trains were still running the WCML franchise.
Included are 15 scenarios, totalling around 43 hours (2,575 minutes!), showcasing a range of services from Express Passenger, Intermodal freight to some more unusual services – Class 90 hauled mail, Network Rail test trains and Railtours.
In every scenario you will encounter adverse signals at various points, but for the sake of keeping some reality, and given that all the scenarios are over 180 miles long, you will likely have a section of clear running as well.

Hi
Having a problem with the 4M48 scenario. I have no problem loading it & have all the requirements. It plays fine until the approach to Lockerbie. At that point it says theres been a collision somewhere in the scenario & it ends! Ive tried running it a number of times with the same outcome every time. Any ideas??
I’ll have a look into this and try to get back to you ASAP. By any chance did you get any details of the collision – trains involved or location?
Hi. Sorry, couldn’t get the details before the screen disappeared. Will try the scenario again today or tomorrow to see if I can get a picture of the error message.
No worries. The update has just been approved which should fix the 4M48 scenario – should work now if you redownload. Its a weird TS bug that some AI trains just don’t move and other plough straight into the back of them! Thanks for your patience – hope you can enjoy a full run now!

on 1z30 – get “broken consists – modified” error – any ideas?
That usually means you don’t have all the requirements. Worth double checking, or try pressing F2 and cancel to work around and see how it goes (of course the scenario may not work correctly if you don’t have all the requirements).
Hiya mate, this is a big ask. However, I was quite late in getting TS in January this year so I didn’t have time to get the Virgin Class 390, I do however have the S9BL one with the Horgy reskin. There wouldn’t be any chance that you could change the driving stock out in the 390 scenarios so I can use them and maybe others? Thanks in advance.
You should be able to swap it using TS-Tools (link at the bottom of this website) – I think Alan has done a tutorial video on Youtube for swapping stock using TS-Tools (or RW-Tools as it was called). You’ll only need to swap the player train in the scenarios that use the newer (discontinued) 390 – all the other AI uses the S9BL with Horgy reskin. Hope that helps.
the GBRF 50s railtour, got to Carlisle on time, stuck outside the station. the train is timetabled to go into platform 1, theres a 66 hauled freightliner in there, not moving. ive got the a single yellow aspect into platform 7 (bay).
so I sat there, then a collision came up.
Thanks for pointing that out, and sorry about that. That Freight in Carlisle P1 caused a problem in testing – one of those TS bugs where a train just doesn’t move! I’ve given it a tweak again and worked fine on testing. Will let you know when the re-upload has been approved.

The class 68 daventry to mossend crashes on load up.
Check the bottom of page 2 in the manual for a possible work around. As these are long scenarios (both in duration and distance) they are quite resource heavy.
Hello, I’ve done the 1M07 scenario but I can’t complete it because the timings were so tight plus there’s another service infront of me so I was quite late arriving at lockerbie and carlisle (I used boost mode). Tbh, when I didn’t get the check mark I’m quite bothered. But, I do like the variety of the AI especially the freight workings and I also like there are lots of statics in yards. I will run another scenario later and hopefully the timings won’t be so tight. Thank you so much for this pack. I know you’ve spent a lot of time making it.
Thanks for your comment and glad you enjoyed some aspects of it. The timings of all the scenarios are taken from the real life timings but these have very little slack in case you get stuck behind something – which is very likely in these scenarios to create interest on the long runs.

I’d seen that, cheers for mentioning it! I thought I’d leave it in just the one scenario for those who already have it, and it’s simple to swap out in TS-Tools for those who don’t. 🙂

That’s unusual. Is it a specific scenario? I’ve only got the Scotrail and SR_AP within the DTG/Class68Pack01 folder (I’m on a fresh install from about 4 weeks ago).
I swapped it with the AP 68, maybe that’s why its crashing?
I believe its the BH Reskins Class 88 (link in the manual). If you check in TS-Tools (RW-Tools) it does say its called [68] Class 68 Scotrail but the file directory is to the Class 88 (DTG\Class68Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\Class88\DRS\Engine\Class68_ScotRail.xml).
