Back in 2010 First Great Western were hiring in a loco hauled set of two top and tailed EWS Class 67s with DB Cargo Blue and Grey Mk2s to increase capacity and cover for unavailable units on the Taunton to Cardiff Central services.
In this scenario you will drive one of these services towards the end of 2010 before they ceased operation later in the year. You pick up the service at Bristol Temple Meads and take it through to Cardiff Central calling at Filton Abbey Wood, Patchway, Severn Tunnel Junction and Newport, before taking the empty stock to Cardiff No. 2 Up Relief to prepare for the next working back to Taunton later. As we’re into the evening peak, traffic on the line is quite heavy and you will encounter some (many) adverse signals along the route as well as a good variety of era appropriate AI.
