Dubbed the ‘Pretendolino’, Virgin Trains’ hired in Mk3 + DVT set (WB64) was used to cover stock shortages between 2009 and 2014. Freightliner were contracted to provide the Class 90 to haul the set. This evening you pick up the evening London Euston – Crewe service at Birmingham New Street and take it through to Crewe. Traffic is heavy around Wolverhampton and Stafford but will get lighter as the evening goes on.
