The delay in the arrival into service of TPE’s Class 185s meant that Class 175s were hired in from Arriva Trains Wales to cover some of the Barrow services throughout 2006. We’re now in October and nearly all of the new Class 185s are in service with just a few 175s needed to cover the duties. Today you’re operating 1H62 on a run from Barrow as far as Preston. Traffic is quite light initially but will get busier on the WCML.
