A super scenario let down only by severely outdated routes. I can’t help but feel a planned stop near Caldicot and a part 4 on a more up to date South Wales Mainline would have improved it. Other than that a great scenario!
All my scenarios are real workings with real timings so I have this thing about unplanned stops that weren’t listed on RTT. I agree it would have hugely upgraded the quality of the final part though so I might consider it in the future.
hey mate enjoyed that run i did stop at Lydney due to south wales modern not being in it. that is nothing bad towards you Ryan just me with my silly OCD.
also Birmingham 2010 needs a revamp
how do i find ukts requirements for Birmingham 2010?
Hi Shaun did you find them yet?
Have a look on wottawallys site ALL THE UKTS are listed under Birmingham 2010.hope that helps.
Done parts 1 & 2. Its years since I’ve used the Derby to Bristol route and was surprised/impressed to see how well it stands up to the latest standards of routes.
Done Parts 1 & 2. Haven’t used the Derby to Birmingham route for years but I was pleasantly surprised as to how well it performed. The scenery looked pretty compared to modern route stndards. Thank you for resurrecting this route.
I love resurrecting old routes!
Birmingham 2010 stacks up very well, there are just some issues with using the AP Sky plugin and electrification around New Street that cause problems. Hopefully the developer puts out a modern version as it would be amazing with modern stations + AP track and signal EPs.
