Brief: Owing to power constraints on the WCML, Lumo’s new Stirling service operates Meridians under the wires from London to Mid Scotland. Drive 1S01 to the Highland’s Gateway; calling at Milton Keynes Central, Nuneaton, Crewe, Preston, Carlisle, Lockerbie, Motherwell, Whifflet, Greenfaulds (not included) and Larbert.

A major power outage between Milton Keynes and Rugby is causing significant disruption with nearly 80% of intercity services cancelled. Remaining trains are forced to squeeze through the now congested Northampton loop with it’s crawling speed limits and impermissive signalling. Prepare to chase yellows for most of your journey.

Notes

• This scenario covers the full journey from London Euston to Stirling excluding 15 minutes between Gartsherrie South Junction and Greenhill Lower Junction which is not represented in TSC.
• Lumo West Coast services are operated by refurbished six coach Class 222/6s in a new Lumo livery. As a reskin with this consist and numbering is not yet available in Train Simulator Classic, an unbranded six coach Class 222/0 has been used and renumbered to appropriately reflect the working of 222 604. 
• A Class 170 replaces an electric ScotRail service at Whifflet. This is because the destination of this train was not electrified when the route was created.
