Brief: CrossCountry operate a handful of Manchester services via Crewe, with one early morning train taking the direct link between Crewe and Stoke-on-Trent to provide a connection between the localities before LNWR and EMR drivers get their boots on. 

Drive 1O04 as far as Birmingham New Street; calling at Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford and Wolverhampton.
