Brief: To help bridge the gap between the withdrawal of their HSTs and the introduction of the new ‘EMR Connect electric service, EMR leased four Class 180 sets to make up the stock difference. These trains were usually found operating London – Nottingham services. However, a single daily 10 car working in each direction ran between London and Derby instead.

Drive 1C06 to St Pancras International; calling at Long Eaton, Leicester, Market Harborough, Kettering and Wellingborough. Keep in mind that a fault free journey on a 180 is never guaranteed!
