31st October 2022Hello, this is one ‘standard’ scenario for the excellent ‘Leeds and York ECML Merge’ route available from ATS.
Length: Approximately. 140 minutes.

To install, simply extract the .zip file using whichever software you have and copy the ‘Content’ folder to your RailWorks install “usually” found here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks
>Scenario Guide:
You begin this scenario south of Finsbury Park with a trio of Royal Mail class 325 units. You have just come across from the West Coast Mainline as you work the first part of 1Z20 the 10:07 Willesden P.R.D.C to Shieldmuir, one of many additional Christmas mail services which are planned to run yearly to help cope with the increased demand on the postal service in the run up to the festive season. You will oversee this service as far as York today where there will be a crew change for the remainder of the trip. You will have to fit in around the existing East Coast timetable so a couple of hold ups can be expected. Your journey time is planned to be a little over two hours. A detailed manual with links to everything you need is included with the download.

VERY long scenario! (it was not possible to finish from the first pass, I had to continue with saving). Of course, I don’t know how you will react to my remark, John, (maybe im saying too directly, but honestly!) but please don’t do such huge scenarios in terms of duration – very few people will like to drive almost continuously for 2 hours and plus or minus 20 minutes….
As a result, I liked the scenario – it was not without pleasure to drive such a huge distance with Class 325’s)
I do not agree at all
whilst you may not have the time to drive a long scenario in one go many do and many will play them
requesting the author to shorten his scenarios when you have the option to save and reload seems misguided
ATS creates the longer merged routes to take advantage of scenarios like this I would much rather people used the save function rather than creators making shorter scenarios
