[RS] 156460 – 2S41 1930 New Mills Central – Manchester Piccadilly (2015)
21st May 2023Hello, this is one ‘standard’ scenario for the lovely ’Midland Mainline’ route which is available from Just Trains.
Length: Approximately. 45 minutes
>Installation:
To install, simply extract the .zip file using whichever software you have and copy the ‘Content’ folder to your RailWorks install “usually” found here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks
>Scenario Guide:
You begin this scenario in the small turnback siding at New Mills Central where you have spent twenty minutes after arriving from Piccadilly a little earlier. You must now shunt back into the platform, change ends and head back into Manchester with the 19:30 departure calling at most stations on route. Your traction for the run this evening is 156460, a considerable step up for the passengers from the booked, and far more frequent 142! A lovely summers evening awaits as you head back north. A detailed manual with links to everything you need is included with the download:
*Note* – For anyone experiencing issues with the 156 when pulling away from the sidings at the start of the scenario, I strongly recommend re-installing the Class 156 from Armstrong Powerhouse as this fixed it for me when making it. Whatever was affected by the update has been rectified if you simply re-download from their website and install. Any queries at all don’t hesitate to get in touch as always.

Cracking stuff as usual.
Cheers Tom, appreciate your feedback and I’m delighted you enjoyed it.
Cheers,
John.
Enjoyed this one – don’t have the ATS 185, AP 156, AP 319 or AP Weather 2.0, but a bit of work in TSTools had all the AI present and it ran absolutely fine – hint, don’t tab through any reds or you’ll probably hit something.
Glad you enjoyed it after some work on TSTools, yep all the signals on that should work as expected apart from the first one which is why you get a little message 🙂 Cheers,
John.
Amazing scenario as always but then again what else would you expect from you 😀 😀
Thank you very much Ross, delighted you enjoyed it 🙂 Cheers, John.
A lovely little drive this one, I especially liked all the AI traffic outside Piccadilly, very realistic indeed 🙂
Thank you very much sir 🙂 I’m delighted you enjoyed it and the realistic AI around Piccadilly too. I like to try and get stuff as real to life as possible, especially when it’s somewhere so local and that we know as well as we do Piccadilly. Thank you sir 🙂
Very good scenario as usual!
Cheers Frank, really glad you enjoyed it. Regards, John.
