Northern Trains Class 195 (Class 166 Reskin)
23rd December 2020**This is a reskin of the Class 166 to represent the Class 195 unit, NOT an actual model.**
Class 195 diesel multiple units were built by CAF in 2017-20 for Northern Trains. The trains were constructed mainly to allow the family of Pacer trains to be phased out.
The units feature air conditioning, power sockets, automated audio information system and display screens, and an accessible toilet located at one end of the train.
A total of 58 units were built (25 Class 195/0 2-car and 33 Class 195/1 3-car sets). The trains have a maximum speed of 100 Mph (160 K/mh).
This reskin requires the European Loco & Asset Pack from Steam, available from: https://store.steampowered.com/app/208300/. This is also included on some routes available from Steam, see https://steamdb.info/app/208300/subs for more details.
This reskin includes updated physics and can now be operated up to 100mph.
A nice reskin. I think this would have gone well as a reskin for the Class 170 as the body shape is a bit more like a 195 than the 166. But none the less, I like this. Thank you.

We appreciate the effort, but this look so unlike a 195, or indeed anything else, it’s not really of any use.

I’m really sorry, but this looks absolutely nothing like the real thing.
This is the closest to the Class 195 unit at the moment.
This train is actually a reskin of the Class 166 as we do not have the actual unit for TS yet.
You could at least edit the sounds and performance files for now; maybe later down the line, get a 3D modeller to rework the cab (ask the guy who did the 323) and use the cabview of a Class 68 to be a bit more like the actual thing
Well it does the job for me: I’m working on 9S55 Euston to Glasgow Scenario for WCML over Shap, and I need a class 195 for 1Y96 11:51 Barrow-In-Furness to Manchester Airport. OK, it’s not really a 195 – but it’s the closest thing available, as there is no 195 for Trainsim yet. Thanks for your effort – much appreciated.
