New Riviera Line : Exeter to Paignton
27th October 2019This is the Newest Version of the Riviera Line Exeter to Paignton.
This comes with a lot of detail mainly Between Paignton and Exeter St David’s.
The Scenery has been carefully remodelled to look like the Line in Real-Life.
This is a 30mile Route which goes from Exeter to Paignton in South Devon in the South West of the UK.
I have tried to make this Route look as close as it looks in the Real World.
Hence why there are so many requirements for this.
To make this project I used a Cabride Video on YouTube.

Please Note there are Bugs on this Route specially the one at Dawlish Warren with the Signal towards Exeter.

Instead of plugging your YouTube channel, maybe it would be more beneficial to sort out the route file, or lack of it, first!?
Same as other subscribers, unable to download, there is no rwp, just a jpeg file.

Yes I am Aware of the Problem with this Download I didn’t add the main Route Folder in on this page I was being a complete plank but I will let my self off that because this is my first Route Upload to a online website originally starting with Steam Workshop.
I’m guessing it is the same if you upload scenario’s onto Alan Thomson Sim same with Route. The main Route/Scenario folder with million numbers and letters of the file name?.
The New Riviera Line will be coming out soon as the Full Version as I’m nearly finished making it… So I will try to Remember the Main Route Folder Doh!

When I tried to download this route all I got was a .jpg file and not the route itself.
Old Stock have you got a rwp file in the download folder called New Riviera Line? In file explorer in the the downloads or Railworks folder. If you have got a rwp file there a app called Train Simulator Utilises. Open that and go to package manager click install and find the New Riviera Line folder and click on the rwp file. Then it sould be installed.
This is my first route I have uploaded on the Alan Thomson Sim website so I’m still learning but if you know how to add routes etc on to Alan Thomson Sim let me know what to do.
I will test download this my self.
No, there is no rwp file in the download, on the checkout page here, under the route heading it just says “20200321220807.jpg” in the download list, and all you get is still just the picture of the route. I,m sorry, I don’t know how to upload routes to this site, I’m sure the admin boys will help you out with that.
A New Update is soon coming to this version of the Riviera Line Exeter to Paignton it will cover most of the redone scenery between Exeter and Newton Abbot with patches.
Starcross has been remodelled and to Powderham footbridge also Powderham Castle has been added to with the upcoming Update.
But there’s lot more then this. See for you’re self!
Newton Abbot to Paignton has not been touched since Last Update. But I will soon work on Newton Abbot to Paignton.
This Update I’m aiming for March to April 2020!
This new update will require more stuff for Train Simulator. I will recommend Just Trains Western Mainlines , South Devon Mainline and Cornish Mainline Extension ( May work with Standalone Versions of the South Devon Mainline and Cornish Mainline.)

Well this is my first thing I have uploaded to this website but I will update this new version of the route regularly . I will add more and more requirements Route’s , Assets , etc to this route as it is still in Development and will be a for while . But I will have a look on this rwp file.
Please check the zip-file, because the rwp-file is contained twice in the zip-file, whatfor is that needed ?
