This morning you are working the early-morning HS2 spoil train, hauling over 1500 tonnes of it from Willesden Logistics Hub down to New Bilton Sidings in Rugby. Having come from the Old Oak Common construction site, the material is being transported to various parts of the country by rail, where it will be processed and put to beneficial reuse. It is early in the morning and traffic is very low, so it should be a rather straightforward jaunt to the Midlands. Your maximum permitted speed is 60mph.

Additionally, the AP Sky & Weather Enhancement Pack 2.0 and Cloud Enhancement Pack are also optional, but highly recommended! I also recommend you make use of ChiefJack’s AP Sky Accurate Time of Day patch to experience the most accurate lighting as of the date/time the scenario is set.

 

CHANGELOG:

+ Scenario now ends at Rugby instead of New Bilton. This is due to an issue with the ‘Rugby New Bilton Siding’ marker, where despite the player stopping at the marker, the task doesn’t register as complete and the scenario wouldn’t end.

+ Stock has been updated using respective newer products and enhancement packs (namely the 66 and 92). Resultantly, the amount of freeware requirements have been reduced.

+ Slightly reduced the speed of a couple of freight services to a more realistic setting.

+ Class 350s now feature visual upgrades from Emrai’s Improvement Patch, and correct liveries have been assigned.

+ The original 3DZug Ealnos open-flats have been replaced with AP JNA-Ts, which correctly now have spoil as the payload instead of sand.

+ Improved scenario briefing and in-game messages with corrected typos and improved clarity.

+ Weather has been updated relevant to the time of setting in the scenario.

+ AP Cloud Enhancement Pack is now used.
