You join 6M61 on the approach to Chesterfield leading this semi-loaded coal train from Doncaster Decoy to Ratcliffe Power Station, commandeered by 66781. With a No.6 headcode, you are limited to 60mph max and are operating as lower priority so watch out for adverse signals.

This scenario has also been designed and tested with the AP Sky & Weather Enhancement Pack 2.0, AP Cloud Enhancement Pack and ChiefJack’s AP Sky Accurate Time of Day patch in-mind. Whilst not essential, having all these installed will provide the most accurate weather and lighting conditions as of the date/time the scenario is set.

NOTES:

~ This scenario becomes considerably resource intensive south of Ilkeston. To mitigate dumps, you MUST run the included “6M61 PRE-LOAD” standard scenario first. Have a fly around Toton and thoroughly follow the map south past Trent Junction as far as Loughborough, allowing the game to properly load up the scenery- and AI-dense tiles. If issues continue to occur, consider lowering your graphics settings.

~ As you exit to the main menu when you finish the scenario, the game may crash to the Desktop. However, it will still register as successfully “complete”, and as such this should be considered a non-issue – albeit slightly inconvenient.
