[MJT] 5Q46 12:17 Worksop Up Receptions – Ely Mlf Papworth Sidings
2nd February 2025Since the introduction of the Class 707s on Southeastern’s Metro services, their ageing Networker fleet is becoming increasingly redundant and unreliable and is due for the scrap heap in the near future. First to go are some of their 465/9s and 466s, which have been over at Worksop for a while and are now being transferred over to Ely Papworth Sidings for storage before they make their final one-way trip to the scrap heap at Newport at some point. Starting out at Retford, you have been signed onto 5Q46 with ROG’s 37884 ‘Cepheus’, where you will be hauling 465917 and 466032 on their final storage move to Ely Papworth, in a 2-part scenario.

Things to Know –
~ At the start of Part 2, there is an issue where at Signal P472 just north of Peterborough (where Part 1 ends), the signal remains at a green aspect the entire time despite the crossover being blocked by 1Y84, which overtakes and arrives into the station first. The player should remain at the signal as instructed, and wait for a pop-up message that I have programmed into the scenario, to mention that they may proceed.
~ Due to the current lack of Class 755 FLIRT in the game, I have replaced these units with Greater Anglia Class 170s, where applicable – renumbered appropriately.
~ I have managed to fill Ely Papworth sidings to considerable detail (credit to Daniel Sandow on the ATS Facebook group, and drone footage by DestinationTrainsPlanes on YouTube). However, I am mostly unable to provide exact unit/stock numbers. Hopefully, this shouldn’t ruin immersion.
Changelog –
02/02/25 12:33 – Original Release
02/02/25 22:45 – Changed the coupler variant of the player loco (37884) from Dellner to Tightlock as per real life.
im hoping someone can halp please.I had a problem before with the 465 just showing couplers some one told me how to fix this but ive completley forgot i have all the requirements it think any help would be grateful
Thoroughly enjoyable scenario, Thank you. Not able to finish part 2, got to Papworth, ran round, unable to get past CA774 due to junction in to Papworth 10 switched against player.
Thoroughly enjoyable scenario, Thank you.
I’ve not got this scenario as I don’t own the route, but just by the thumbnail, the wrong coupler adaptor is on 884. It should be a Tightlock, not a Dellner
Good observation actually, didn’t realise. I’ll get that sorted 👍
No worries. I’ve got that eye for these things lol
