Sunday 29th September 2024 saw the last ever working passenger service for the Class 323 EMUs in the Midlands, after 30 years of service. To celebrate the retirement of the fleet, West Midlands Railway partnered up with The Branch Line Society to form ‘The Class 323 Farewell’ charity railtour – taking passengers on an exciting round trip between Birmingham and Liverpool via their former territories including the Cross City, Chase, and West Coast Main Line. In this scenario, you lead the remainder of the outbound leg of this tour on a bit of a dull morning – having taken over at Stafford. It’s non-stop through to Liverpool, although expect some hold-ups here and there as other WTT passenger services will have priority!

 

All AI numbers and timings are set as accurately as possible as they were on the day according to realtimetrains, apart from Class 350 workings which are not provided.

Important Things to Know:

• There should only be one occasion where you will need to SPAD-Tab a signal, which is on the Down Fast through-line at Crewe (Signal CE153), and this is mentioned again as a reminder in the scenario briefing. All other signals should be working as intended.

2. Navigate to the ‘Content’ folder within the .zip file. Drag/Copy+Paste this folder into your Railworks directory, and the scenario should now be installed!
