OVERVIEW: With weekend engineering works taking place on the line between Derby and Chesterfield, services are being diverted via the Erewash Valley lines at Trent Junction. CrossCountry are running only 1TPH long-distance in each direction, reversing at Derby, while EMR Intercity services are either curtailed at Derby or taking the Erewash avoider. This evening, you pick up one such service, 1S53 13:27 Plymouth – Edinburgh, which you will work as far as Sheffield where another driver will take over.
