OVERVIEW: With weekend engineering works taking place between Taunton and Castle Cary, all Great Western Railway services from London towards Devon and Cornwall are on diversion via Bath and Bristol. To help ease capacity across the West Country during the peak, GWR are also operating one early morning and evening return along the West of England Line to serve the Berks and Hants route during the blockade. This morning, you take over this diverted morning peak service 1-Juliet-99 at Exeter, working the remainder of its journey from Plymouth up to London Paddington via Yeovil. Setting = December 2025.
