With rush hour upon us, you join IET sets 011 and 026 to work 1B25 on the 17:18 Great Western Railway service from London Paddington to Swansea – calling at Reading, Didcot Parkway, Swindon, Bristol Parkway, Newport, Cardiff Central, Bridgend, Port Talbot Parkway, Neath, and Swansea. We’re on the electrics through to Cardiff, where we then change to diesel for the remaining 34 miles. Once passengers have disembarked at Swansea, you will then need to take the train into Maliphant Depot for overnight stabling where you will be relieved for the evening.
