ScotRail have a shortage of stock to run on the Fife Circle which is exactly why they got Mk2s, 68006 and 68007 on sub-lease from Direct Rail Services, with other locos often appearing too. 68006 and 68007 were both repainted into the stunning ScotRail livery. They were to run morning and evening peak services on the Fife Circle to bolster capacity, as anyone who travelled on the Fife Circle would tell you that the trains were packed.

You are tasked with driving one of the sets, with loco 68007 ‘Valiant’ leading, on a Clockwise Fife Circle service from Glenrothes with Thornton to Edinburgh Waverley, the Scottish Capital. Please be aware this service will be absolutely mobbed at this time of day so keep to your times.

Route: DTG Fife Circle

Duration: ~75 Mins

Side note, but I just think that was an incredible move from ScotRail, I absolutely love locohauled stock.
