The scenario is a “what if?” type scenario set in December 1960 at the time when D6700 (the 1st EE type 3) was being tested at Doncaster before being delivered to Stratford depot on 23/12/1960. The working in this scenario is a fictional one involving D6700 on a loaded test run hauling some empty coal wagons from Kirkby Stephen East to Barnard Castle.
