It’s Monday 18th August 2025. You take over 4M88, a Class 70 pulling empty JNA box wagons from Walsall to Dowlow Quarry, at Derby. Take the consist all the way to Dowlow from Derby, this will require you to runaround the wagons at Buxton.

– There will be small waits in places, namely Ambergate Jn, Dore West Jn and for the signal to clear onto the token worked section, please allow time for the signal to clear.

Known Issues

– While waiting in Ambergate Loop, 1F37 and 1V58 both seem to pass with only couplers showing, but if you zoom around/toward them the trains appear. Only seems to affect these two trains and no idea what causes it, advise you do the above.

 

– DY564 Signal at Ambergate Jn goes back to red and the green when 1F37 is approaching. I tried to force it to stay green but couldn’t get it to. Despite this, in reality it wouldn’t cause a change of aspect for that train and as it isn’t your signal you would not be required to report to the signaller either, so it’s not entirely unrealistic, maybe the signaller was going to put you first but then thought better of it, who knows.

 

– Not the most realistic working of token section in terms of where you might pick up/drop off token etc. I did what I could. The 2nd Token section especially because how quickly you get to that bit will be player dependant, so I didn’t want to place another blocker and have you wait when, in reality, if you were ready, you’d be on your way.

 

– You are unlikely to achieve a ‘green tick’ after completion due to the fact there could be hidden stop tasks used to regulate the trains correctly etc.
