Due to staff shortages Avanti West Coast is running a reduced timetable. To add some capacity Locomotive Services Limited and West Coast Railway Company run extra services as far as Manchester and Lancaster.

In this scenario you are to take extra service 1Z86, operated by WCRC, from Stafford to Rugby, calling at Lichfield Trent Valley, Tamworth and Nuneaton along the way.

This is what I call a ‘real time’ scenario. This means all services are running, as far as possible, according to the times documented on https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk, including delays and cancellations. As long as the information was available and applicable I used the appropriate vehicles and vehicle numbers for player and AI trains.
