GSW Diversions (1989) – 1S74 11:00 Newcastle – Stranraer
26th October 2024 5 By HarrebarrevarreDuring two weekends of April 1989, WCML traffic was diverted via the Glasgow South Western Line. This was also the start of the new Class 156s’ serving of NW England and Scotland. You will couple up to another 156 at Carlisle and take a break before continuing the service towards Stranraer. Enjoy your break there before heading north negotiating the partly single track line along with WCML traffic as far as Dumfries.
60 minute scenario for the WCML over Shap. Weather: Fair cloud/showers. Feedback is much appreciated. Hope you enjoy! 😊

Absolutely amazing scenario! AI in Carlisle was fantastic!
Very immersive AI at Carlisle, congrats!
Just so I know: does anyone else have issues with the showers not triggering? I checked that HBV correctly set up two showers, proceeded to set them up the same way on another scenario (only with a time in the beginning for ease of testing), and they worked correctly…
A really enjoyable scenario, Thank you.
Worth downloading for the stock moves in Citadel station alone. Excellent. Thanks.
