1st July 2021A 2 part scenario I put together for a hidden gem of a steam era route, East of Crianlarich which covers various mostly now removed or whittled down railway in west central Scotland from Dunblane to Crianlarich Lower and various branch lines in between.
A return trip to Glasgow for the tired and happy tourists from their day out on the busy Loch Tay steamer which is unfortunately on it’s last year of service at Killin pier which will result in the closure of Loch Tay platform to passengers.
Pt.1 Drive LMS 2P 15164 (ex CR 439 Class) from Loch Tay to Killin Junction where a loco change will happen for the journey to Glasgow.
Pt.2 Drive LMS 3P 14620 (ex CR 191 Class) taking over the coaches from part 1 from Killin Junction to as far as Dunblane.
