Good Afternoon Driver,

Its another soggy day in Wales this week, today you are taking Class 47 47301 from here at Gaerwen Junction to Ellesmere Port, carrying the usual Almwch Octel train but on its empty return run.

The previous driver which took this set from Almwch to here has noticed a performance decrease as the loco is struggling to pick up speed. Your secondman will keep a look out for any defects that may occur, if so you may have to take the loco off the consist and we will have to call a rescue loco to take the set, but hopefully that doesn’t happen.
