22nd April 2026Just Trains Western Mainlines Exeter to Penzance Rework ERA 2018.
This product is an updated Exeter to Penzance which is intended to bring the route up to a better standard then it was originally. There are sections of the route that has seen a overhaul noticeably between Exeter and Plymouth which represents the route in better detail and seems a lot more like it should for a Devon and Cornwall route!

Dawlish Warren to Teignmouth (Bi Directional Added)
Long Rock Depot.
General Trackside surroundings and certain landmarks.
Reworked Exeter to Plymouth. (Trackside Trees)
Reworked Newton Abbot to Paignton (Trackside Trees and Surroundings)
Station Stopboards and Scenario Editor Stopping Points.
Reverb in Tunnels!
Reflective Water Assets for Estuaries and Oceans.
Points of the Cornish Mainline seeing updates but isn’t generally a rework as I think the CML is fairly decent

3 Freight scenarios. China Clay and Moorswater cement.
Various updates to scenery.
Various landmarks at Plymouth.
Long Rock Depot v.1.1 initial update of covered track but inside still needs touching.
Dawlish tunnels now have vegetation and not just plain red rock.
Distant coast line seen at Dawlish, Exmouth coast and shaldon. has been included. (Lighting pending)
following reports of 2P09 scenario having an Ai collision. this scenario was tested on 15/06/2026 by the publisher and now works!
There is 20 scenarios included based on a 2018-2019 timetable from a GWR Leaflet I have 🙂

I do not have plans to update any other location on this route as I feel there is already good versions out.

There are getting to be so many versions of the South West routes so only time will tell if this is a keeper for me . You’ve worked very hard and I’ve only mainly driven the Riviera Line, which is my local line and some bits beyond.
What killed it for me was the beautiful, glassy azure waters of the Teign Estuary. Sorry but even my rose tinted specs couldn’t cope with that.
Lots of scenarios to try so thank you and apart from the water and maybe a bit too verdent in places. First impressions – a good job done and thank you.

Seriously, you’ve done a great job. Just the water, the vegetation has been growing rapidly after the recent rain 🙂 and it doesn’t seem to effect performance. I’ll be getting more familiar with it and looking out for what your updates could contain !
